                                                           One day in kuala lumpur

One day i wanted to go Kuala lumpur for buying clothes and phone because my friend told me, you can not find a good phone and clothes in Nilai, because and also every thing is expensive in Nilai.

so, I decided to go Kuala Lumpur. At first I called the taxi to take me to the train station, after that i bought a ticket to the KL. When i arrived to KL Central, I took a taxi to the Lowyet in order to buy
a phone. In Lowyet there were a lot of electronic equipments.

People were speaking with each other in different lunguages like Chinese , Malaysians, Indian and English, but at all they could speak English.

Some of  the sellers were quit and some others were noisy and bargain with their customers, but all
of them were kind and friendly  have good treat with their buyers.

After shopping , I went to KLCC the famous place in Malaysia. There were lots of tourists and some other foreigners for different occasions.

For the lunch I went to a restaurant.there were different types of foods, i ordered one of them , the tastegood , but little spicy i could not eat it. Then i  went to an Arabic restaurant because the taste of Afghan foods and Arabs are the same so, i ate my lunch there. I enjoyed that day in KL.
At last i recommend for all restaurants in KL, they must  cook every types of foods because there is lots of foreigners.

In the name of almighty Allah

Why did you come to USIM and what do you want to achieve?

We have an exam in our country by the name of Konkor exam. A student who gets good results in this exam is chosen by the government to continue his or her studies in a foreign country. The Afghan government chose Malaysia because Malaysia is an Islamic country.

In Malaysia our government chose three universities University Islam Antarabangsa (UIA), University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), because these universities belong to the government and they have good facilities, good environment and these universities are good in education in terms of their experienced educators. When I was first informed about USIM, that I was going to start my program here, I was a little nervous about the environment, the other students, the educators and the hostels. But when I came here and saw the students and lecturers, I became very happy because all of them are friendly and kind people.

They are always trying to make us happy and help us solve our problems. I also found lots of new friends from other countries. Now I can learn and know new things from them. I learnt lots of things from this University.

My purpose is to achieve knowledge from this university in order to help my people and improve my country. I have decided that I will work with the Ministry of Communications in Kabul.

Finally I want to say that we came here for education and we must try our best to earn knowledge and help ourselves and our country.

In the name of Allah

Nowroze (New Year)

Nowroze is the first day of the New Year. It is the first day of spring and it is a historical day in our country. People celebrate this day at the beginning of the year in Afghanistan, Iran, central Asia, south Asia, parts of India and Northwestern China. In Afghanistan, Nowroze is called the Day of Farmer too. It is celebrated for one day in Afghanistan but for 13 days in Iran.

On Nowroze day, people are in a very happy and joyous mood. They hug each other and congratulate the New Year. On this day we have special foods like Samanag, Seven fruits, Ashak, Qaboli Palaw, Manto and et cetera. We have special sports like Bozkashi, Flying kites, Ghorsai and entertainment like Atan-e Milli and Qataghani Dance. Many people celebrate Nowroze in Mazar-e Sharif but some people celebrate in famous places of Kabul, such as Qargha, Bagh-e Bala, Paghman and elsewhere.

This New Year I was not with my family in Kabul. It was very hard for me. I miss them a lot because I am so far from them. It has been six months since I saw my family. When I was in Afghanistan, before coming the New Year I was busy with lots of preparations. I celebrated the New Year with my family; we wore new clothes and went to friends’ homes to congratulate the New Year.

When I celebrated the New Year in Malaysia on March 21st, I was with my friends in UIA.  We had a party in celebration of Nowroze. I enjoyed a little because we did not have good facilities. I missed my family a lot, my country, my favorite foods and so on.

At the end I want to say, no where can be better than our own country. Homeland is the place which gives us solace. Finally, without family and homeland nothing is interesting and enjoyable for anyone.

                       My dreams for my country

Since the day i was born i have longed to see many signs of improvement in every
aspect (administration, education, health and welfare, etc) that can boost the economy
of my country.

In our country, there are setbacks like corruption, unemployment, poor health facilities
and low literacy rate. But i have not given up hope,Afghanistan can become a very
fine and safe place to live.

War can destroy a country and the hope of its countrymen as of now, there is ongoing civil
war in my country. This war has created a lot of problems in my country.

First of all, my biggest dream is for my country, to become a peaceful and safe place,
for its citizens. As a result of ongoing war, there are destruction of building, lost of lives,
properties and decline of economy.

My country is in a very critical condition. Every field is in dire needs of improvisation.
For instance, the education sector in our country needs to be filled with academicians and
professionals. One major reason why we are lagging  behind in many fields is due to the
high number of illiteracy .Therefore, we need to academicians and professionals in schools, colleges, universities and work sectors to join forces to rebuild our beloved country.

Apart of education, unity is important to the growth and stability of our country's economy.
Unity the key of having good quality life and prosperous country.
Disunity has caused our nation to be weak.We need to work together to rebuild our
renowned historical sites. We need to utilize our natural resources (through mining) to the
maximum.

Lastly, in order to ensure my big dreams would come true and my country would be placed
in the same rank as other developed Muslim countries, my course mates and i have to work
hard in our studies. We also must instil in our minds that unity and education are importent
elements to peacefulness of our country.
